Interview with Jason Gerhardt!


It may be with heavy heart that General Hospital fans mourn the death (by hanging, no less!) of mysterious Cooper Barrett, but it is my great pleasure to share my recent conversation with his Coop's talented portrayer, Jason Gerhardt. Are Landon and Soffer Exiting ATWT?


We've been swamped with emails here at Soaps.com, asking if it is true that Jennifer Landon, Gwen, and Jesse Soffer, Will, are leaving the show. Well, so far it appears that the reports are just that - rumor. Several reports state that the pair will exit As The World Turns as early as this spring. Susan Lucci Receives AFTRA Award!!


Susan Lucci has been a staple on daytime television since the 1970s, but she has also graced several Broadway stages and appeared in several made-for-television movies. Her career-long hard work will be honored by the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists on Monday, January 28th, at the AFTRA Media and Entertainment Excellence Awards! Shirley Jones talks to Soaps.com!


As Soaps.com had reported a few weeks ago in our comings and goings, the legendary Shirley Jones is coming to Days of Our Lives to portray Colleen Brady - tomorrow! Guess she really didn't go off that cliff and die! ATWT Fans React to Dusty's Death!!

AMC's Chrishell Stause chats with Soaps.com


Since blasting on to the All My Children in 2005 fans have flocked to Chrishell Stause, and it looks like there is an even hotter future in for the soap star. She recently finished work on a movie and is set to being shooting another film later this year! The movie Chrishell just wrapped is called "Scaring the Fish" and is currently in post-production (that's movie talk for editing). Chrishell says the project, which was originally a play and was adapted to the big-screen, literally fell into her lap! Read what Chrishell had to say!

Interview with One Life To Live’s Mikey Jerome!


Although we didn’t get a lot of time to get to know One Life to Live actor, and I Wanna Be a Soap Star Winner, Mikey Jerome in his role as Ted Obsourne (sidekick to Vincent Jones – Tobias Truvillion), fans had a hard time forgetting that smile and mourned his death during the “One Pure People” storyline when he was burned alive in a warehouse. DGA Announces Daytime Nominees!

39th Annual NAACP Image Awards Nominees Announced!


With the New Year comes the anticipation for yet another award ceremony… The 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards!

Set to air on Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 8:00PM to 10:00PM Eastern time on FOX, those winners chosen will be honored for their unique contributions in the television, recording, literature and motion picture business! Given all the political and environmental issues going on today, the NAACP will be using eco-friendly programs as a way to do their part to help save the world’s climate.

With a theme for the February event titled, “Stand Up and Be Counted,” without further ado, here are this year’s daytime nominees!
